The fountain centre provides
cancer patients using conventional cancer treatments with multidisciplinary
and holistic support. Integrated cancer care (ICC) provides
Medical care, follow-up and support for patients using non conventional or alternative anti cancer
therapies.
This is
provided within the context of a NHS Cancer Centre and integrates the
care of patients using non-conventional anticancer therapies back into
the conventional NHS system.
ICC addresses the needs of patients
using alternative anti cancer therapies using a non judgmental
approach and without
the constraints of clinical trials or ‘evidence based practice’, which are often
obstacles in the use of alternative
or non-conventional therapy use within the NHS.
